Shoe Material

The eFoam series crosslinked polyolefin foam is an environmental- friendly material developed by Mega Master Technology and used by a significant number of sports personnel. As a cushioning material, it has superior performance and more durable characteristics than other material such as Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA).

Advantages：

The eFoam series are crosslinked by electron beam (EB) radiation and produced without any chemical cross-linker. These polyolefin foam products can be supplied in sheets and rolls.

There is a wide process temperature of -80℃~110℃ - up to 120℃ for a special specifications. Our foam is known for its closed cell structure ensuring extremely low water absorption, good thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, energy saving, cold resistance combined with a Low Glass Transition Temperature (Tg). The product is suitable for thermal or vacuum moldings.

The eFoam series is non-toxic, odorless with negligible volatile organic compounds (VOC).

The products meet Taiwan’s EPA Eco Label Class 1 and comply with European Union (EU) RoHS requirements.

Characteristics：

Our foam is shock absorbing, light weight and hydrolysis-resistant. It is suitable for thermal pressing or die-cut and accepts the drilling of holes to increase ventilation. It can be skived and is suitable for glue or hot air bonding.

Special function：

The product is anti-static, making it suitable for clean rooms, electronic parts packing and thermal molding.

Use：

Our foam can be used in lining, stuffing and for the upper or insole of shoes.
